I was recomended dvm, JJ concerning my service dogs Rocket's grapefruit/softball size fatty tumor and the removal of it. The other vet I went to didn't want to do it(thought it was unecessary). We did it, 12/08/25 and it was successful and Rocket was grateful. Rocket was anxiety ridden and self-conscious due to his breed and early life mistreatment. Neither vet we utilized understood this fact and he hated going to the vet. He started having trouble when there was snow/ice getting in the car/couch/bed ect. I thought he injured himself during that time and his discomfort persisted. He had his yearly on 03/10/26 and I mentioned intermittent pain when going from laying to sitting. JJ did not offer/suggest getting an X-ray at that time. Per Rocket's age/size/breed that should have been the protocol. It would have changed how WE handled the end of his life instead of panicking how to handle his Osteosarcoma dx at the last minute. From 4/3/26 until 4/16 he took a NSAID. We got his dx but were Not even shown his X-ray. JJ stated My boy would "hop around just fine on 3 legs for 1-3 months." He got a fracture on Sunday, 4/19. I am a disabled veteran and I look @ every image I get taken, so I emailed over that weekend questioning why we didn't get to see the x-ray image I paid $200 for and they emailed it and we put it on a 55 " screen and my baby's bones were flaking away. The cancer was way more advanced than what JJ told us. Because of his fracture, he was not able to participate in a Flash Radiology w/ amputation study. We had to rush to figure out what to do with my best friend & confidant. He was transitioned out of this life on Earth Day, 04/22/2026 and it was beautiful because of FullCirclePet. I was so angry about the lack of transparency through this process. Your business model is a failure. You need to pad appointments w/ time for bad dx/x-rays. We had No questions because WE were in SHOCK. On the day of the dx, dvm, JJ immediately went to the next appointment. The info in the chart should be exactlly as told to me and it was not. I was advised to contact the state board but I was simply too incapacitated due to my grief. This clinic should be required to have continuing education and it should be mandated, along with some animal behavioral training as store bought "pets" are different from rescues, and working dog behavior should be completely understood because they are inherently intelligent and intuitive and read the room very well. He certainly didn't feel like a valued or adored patient of All For Pets, nor did we. His human friends wished they could only have a companion dog as loyal as him. They thought it was my training, but his intelligence was amazingly intuitive because I talked to him like a person, or one of my kids, no yelling or pleading with him to come to me. He was mine and I was his. He wasn't afraid to die but he knew it was imminent, and therefore he was worried about Me, his Mom. The day before he died, I was laying w/ him comforting him, he sat up and shoved his right paw into my heart and stared me in the eye with a very serious expression which made me cry so I laid my head on his chest and when I looked back up, he licked my tears to comfort Me. He was more human than the droidlike people that inhabit Madison. Rocket was a real boy, more human(e) than most "people." We only got to be with Rocket 4 years and 8 months, but he was beautiful inside and out and his essence was that of a steady anchor in my life, vigilant, devoted, and true.
Having a clinic, doc, techs, staff, etc., that you trust and appreciate is so important. I moved from west side to east a few years ago, and switched clinics for a bit. I simply didn't connect with a couple other places, so I came back to All For Pets. I wholeheartedly second the appreciation for Dr. Natalie and David I saw on another review. They have been amazing for sure, but overall everyone there is welcoming and caring. Having tested out a few other places over the past couple years, I'd say this is the place to take your beloved fur family members!
All for Pets is the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to, and I'll never take my pets anywhere else for their care. In particular, Dr. Erin Haroldson and Dr. Megan Gallager have provided exemplary care for my pets. Their compassion, understanding, and expertise were so appreciated in managing my pets' complex end-of-life care. Thank you, All for Pets. You make a difference! 💜
My dog Bulba is treated here and they are always efficient
This clinic is amazing! I’ve been taking my dog here for almost 9 years! We usually see Dr. Natalie Schweitzer who is the most wonderful veterinarian, but on occasion have seen other veterinarians that work here and they have all been great! Everyone, including the techs and reception/office staff are so kind and caring!
